Correspondence from Edward Van Cleve to Edward E. Allen, Charles Frederick Fraser, W. Frank Persons, and others between December 1917 to August 1918. Van Cleve was the Principal of the New York Institute for the Education of the Blind. He served as the Chairman of the "Joint Committee of the A.A.I.B. and A.A.W.B. appointed to Aid the Halifax Blinded" and as a member of the "American Red Cross Committee on Eye Victims of the Halifax Disaster."
