Oral histories

Oral histories of alumni, staff, relatives, trustees and members of the Teacher Training Program and the Educational Leadership Program. The interviewees include alumni who attended as early as the 1930s to staff who recently retired.

Oral histories include two to three sections. There is a described portrait of the interviewee when available, a simple text transcript that has been corrected for errors and formatted for legibility, and the audio file which also includes an audio transcription with timestamping and audio scroll. More oral histories will be added periodically as we migrate from our legacy collection sites. All oral histories are also available on Perkins.org.
